Book #2 from the series: DCI Finnegan Yorkshire Crime Thrillers

Jawbone Walk

Text V For Vengeance: A DCI Finnegan Yorkshire Crime Thriller - Book 2

About

There's no such thing as coincidence... not in DCI Frank Finnegan's mind!

When the naked body of a man is found lashed to Black Nab, a rock off the coast of Whitby, DCI Finnegan and his team are soon on the case.

They immediately realise whoever the killers are, they're sending a brutal warning - vengeance!

As the body count rises, Finnegan suspects a link between the deaths and a recent case involving two missing schoolgirls.
But who is committing the murders... and why?

When a covert government agency enters the fray, and suggests the police curtail their investigations, it leaves Finnegan with only one option—intensify efforts and catch the killers before they strike again.

His pursuit of the assassins takes a menacing turn for the worse when one of his top officers disappears.
The hunters... become the hunted!

A powerful, nerve-jangling, murder mystery thriller that races through the brooding countryside of North Yorkshire, from coast to moors.

Praise for this book

Brilliant! I couldn't put the book down. Another excellent read. Brilliant storyline full of suspense, tension and excitement.
Ely North uses the Whitby area as the backdrop of his books.
Highly recommended 👌

A truly fun adventure. This is the second book of the Frank Finnegan series. Whilst the first is a very good police procedural it is also a great story line and introduction to the Yorkshire area and Whitby. I really enjoy wandering the towns and countryside using Google maps. It's a special treat when authors use real life locations in their stories. I can virtually visit the shops and pubs. Walk the town and have a peek into the village. I'm not really telling you much about the book but I look forward to the next installment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Added Ely North to my list of favourite authors.

Thought I would give 'Black Nab' a whirl, it sounded interesting and in an area I know well. I am now hooked on Ely North after reading the follow-up 'Jawbone Walk'. A great read and I've found myself invested in the characters.
